Read the following Bill passed by the Legislative Council and assented to by the Governer General on the 22nd December entitled an Act to remove from the operation of the General Laws and Regulations in certain Districts inhabitat by the Sonthals and others and to place the same under the Superintendence of an officer to be specially appointed for that purpose.
