Read a letter dated 10th September from A. W. Beglic Esquire C. S. applying for a Furlough of 1856/57 whould such be available at the line he leaves India in February next statis with reference to his letter of the 23rd July last that he has applied for an amounting of 1857/58 and that he will resign from the 1st May next his furlough supposing one available will be for the period between his leaving India and the date. On the 23rd Instant the foregoing letter was returned tot he applicant who was referred to para 7 of the Orders of the 27th July 1855 published in the Calcutta Gazette of the 25th August p. p. 1198-1199.
