Chief Secretary - Forwards copy of a Report by the Superintendant of the Octacamund Gardens of a letter from the Professor of Botang reciving the raid Report and copy of the observation of Government recorded upon both Papers. Solicits sanction to the allowances of 50 Rs. as applied for by the Supeintendant of Gardens at Ootasumend for two years and that permission maybe given for the transmission by Government Steamers free of charge of Seeds plants etc which may be intorchanged between the Otacamund and Calcutta Gardens.
