Governor to raise a body of European Mounted Police under a Competent superintendent for service in Shahabad & Behar - The pay of the Superintendent is not mentioned the men on to be paid 2@ 100/ & the rest @ 60/ a month with horse allowance to those who provide their on huses & may be armed with carbines & Side arms as Government espense - They may be ordered to Gya & proceed from Runegunge by some route parallel to the Grand Trank Road - Refer to above letter of this date regarding the raising of a body of erregular hose.
