On Court of Despatch no. 2 of 1857 dated 2nd January transmitting 100 copies of a Notification relating to an Examination of Candedates for the Civil Service of the East India Company to be held in July 1857 directs that the same he published in the Calcutta Gazette and tht ten copies be transmitted to each of the Government of Madras, Bombay, Bengal and the North Western Provinces.
