Under Secretary - In reply to letter dated 19th January relative to the proposed exemption by the Government of Bombay of Dr. Gibson from the Operation of the Rule established by the Government of India on 25th May 1835 transmits correspondence from which it will approve that the Regiment must be adhered to in the present instance.
