From Post Master General - In reply to letter. States that the Mails now travel by Contract from hence to Midnapore and that there are no Public Servants on that line of Road, that the remarks of the Commissioner appear to have been made under some misapprehensions, the Road from Midnapore to Oolloobureah having been always under the Post Master at Midnapore - the subject of laying bearers for this Road has occupied his attention. Reports measures to facilitate travelling on the Road to Midnapore.
