To Secretary - With refrence to entry No. 25 of the above abstract,requests explanation for authorizing , without the previous sanctions of the Government of India, the entertainment from tje 8th September 1843, tothe 8th of Janurary 1844 of two men on salaries of Rs. 3/8 each permonth for crossing the Mails over channels between Masulipatam and Maddapollem.
