From - Transferring for consideration in this Department a suggestion by the Honble Court for reducing the position and salary of the office of Home Secretary in consequence of the removal of all Legislative and Public Works business from the Department. The Governer General in Council considers it would be preferable to preserve the Home Secretaryship on its present footing - Transferring from the Foreign from the Home Office the Superintendence of the Civil internal adminstration of Burmah, Mysore etc.
