Director General - Applies nine months leave of absence to England on private affairs under Section XII & XIV of the new Absentee Rules, or if leave under the former Section cannnot be granted in addition to leave under the latter, trusts that His Lordship in Council will be pleased to accord him leave for 6 months. Expresses the hope that the opportunity which will thus be afforded of becoming acquainted with the working of the Post Office Department in Gread Britain will be most useful to him in the future management of the Department in India. Suggests certain arrangements for the conduct of the duties of his office during his absence - Proposes to leave in April next.
