Governer of - With reference to his letter of the 6th September last & for reasons explained requests that an Assistant Surgeon may be forthwith despatched to take charge of the Station of Penang and that his appointment of Dr. Williamson of the Madras Service to the Medical charge of Malacca may be sanctioned & the Madras Government informed.
