Governor - With reference to his letters of the 6th September and 12th October last requests sanction to the employment of assistant Surgeon Johstone from the 24th September 1855 the day on which he assumed charge of the Penang Residency to the 22nd March last on which day he was relieved by assistant Surgeon King.
