To Secretary - With reference to the above observes that the advantage of a furnished house was specially allowed to the Lieut Governer of Bengal in consideration of the heavier expenses to which he was exposed by reason of his residence in Calcutta but no grounds exist for furnishing the house at Agra at the public expense for proposing the grant of other or higher allowances to the Lieut Governer North Western Provinces.
