Read a letter from the Honble Court of Directors No. 8 of 1841 dated the 7th April noticing the want --- - - of uniforminby in the Rules existing at the diffesent Presidneces with reqard to the time allowed for Writers to gualify themselves for entering on Public Service and the enforcement of penalhes in case of Cailure.
