From Acting Governor - In reply to referned relative to the duties of Coroner being performed by Mr. Lewis forwards copy of a letter fromt he Residnet Conncillor at Malancca on the Subject stating that the duties of that Office cannot be discharged by him etc. Mr. Newbrouner is for the present allowed to continue in Office.
