Todd there were two other Candidates the Revrend Mr. Proctor and Dr. Tytler the profession of the former objectionable and suggests that the qualifications of Captain Troyer Dr. Tytler and others who may have offered themselves be subjected to an Examination by a Committee consisting of Dr. Carey, Mr. James Thomason & Dr. H. H. Wilson.
