From Mr. W. H. Macnaghten ( Secretary to the Governor General ) - Communicates the leave of absence granted to Mr. H. T. Prinsep to return to Calcutta on Sick Certificate to resume his duties as Secretary in the General Department. Mr Macnaghten assuming charge of the Departments heretofore Superintended by Mr. Prinsep.
