Ives Deputy Registrar General - Expresses his acknowledgments for the Confirmation by the Court of Directors of the personal allowance of 100 Rupees per month granted to him by Government - Adverts to the grant of a pension to himself when compelled to retinquish his present. Situation, and trusts that he may under the circumstances stated receive the benefit of the former Pension Rules. States that it will be satisfactory to him to know in case of his death, that Pensions will be assigned to his wilfe - Enclose Copies of documents comprizing the rules under which Pensions were formerly and are now granted to Uncovenanted assistants which include a Resolution of Government of 1778 for rewarding by Pensions the Services of Assistant in Public Offices who shall have served 12 years in the same Office.
