Surveyor General - Encloses in original a correspondence passed between Capain Webb Surveyor in kumaon and W. Laidlow relating to a refusal on the part of the latter to give up the surveying Instruments in his possession observes as Mr. Laidlow has scarcely ever joined Captain Webb that his being at all atached to the Survey can be of little use. recommend Mr. Laidlows Bills being in future signed by Captain Webb reasons.
