From Secretary - In reply to letter of 30th March. Submits for consideration the observations of the Commission on the expediency of providing by Legislative Enactment such Regulations in respect to the deportation of Natives of India as to secure the Court of Directors form charges on account of such Natives when left destitute in England, as also to project them from the Contingencies of deportation and subsequent desertion either at an English or Foreign Port.
