Thomas Goddard acknowledging receipt of a bill of exxxchange for 3 laks of rupees promising to transmit the accounts of the detachment regularly in future intimating that he has ordered major Baillie to make up and entire new set of gun-carriages tumbrills etc. reporting that Capts. Showers and Mence are setting ourt for Bengal and that he has permitted Lieut. Henderson to resign the service and asking the Board to consider some means of obviating the inconvenience the detachment will be put to without the co-operation of Major Camac sdetachment.
