Letter from Brigadier- General Thomas Goddard, enclosing an account the disbursement made to the Candahar Cavalry, explaining the causes of the delay made in the submission of the accounts of his army, acquainting the Board that two lakhs of rupees sent by the Besbrough have been carried by mistake during his absence to Bombay and delivered over to the President and Council there who appropriated the amount to pay off the arrears due on account of the re-inforcements they sent him an further intiamting that he has received a bill of exchange for one lakh of rupees from the Chief and Council at Surat, and has drawn bills to the amount of rupees 7,42,000 on the Board..
