Letter from Mr.W.Larkins, Accountant General , enclosing with his remarks an account showing the differences subsisting between an abstract of the quick stock of the Bombay Presidency on the 31st March 1785 and a general statement of debts due by the Company at that presidency and its subordinates on the 1st November 1784, and and suggesting that the Presidencies of Madras and Bombay should despatchtheir quarterly statements of quick and dead stock acroos India by express pattamars when the transmission of the same is not convenient by sea.
