Letter from Mr. W. Larkins, Accountant-General, enclosing with his remarks an account showing the differences subsisting between an abstract of the quick stock of the Bombay Presidency on the 31st March, 1785, and a general statement of debts due by the Company at that Presidency and its subordinates on the 1st November, 1784, and suggesting that the Presidencies of Madras and Bombay should despatch their quarterly statements of quick and dead stock across India by express pattamars when the transmission of the same is not convenient by sea.
