From Secretary - With Advertence to his letter of the 30th November last forwards copy of one from the Post Master General of Madras and of the Statement Exhibiting an increase in the number of letter despatched in 1840/41 as compared, with that in 1833/39 and a falling off in the Collections by Rs. 26,742 10,8 cousequent on the reduced rate of postage.
