Decision of Government that owing to urgent war requirement some of the buildings of the Indian School of Mines Dhanbad should be handed over to the Military Authorities for the duration of the War and that in consequence the School should remain closed for a period of one year during which the students will be placed at mines for practical training under certain conditions.
