Amendment of the Indian Paper Currency Act, 1923, with a view to :- (1) Increasing the limit of issue of currency notes against commercial bills of exchange to Rs. 12 crores; and (2) Holding, as part of the Paper Currency Reserve, of bullion obtained by melting silver coin.
