Amendment of the Indian Paper Currency Act, 1923 with a view to :- (1)increasing the limit of issue of currency notes against commercial bills of exchange of Rs. 12 crores; and (2) holding a part of the paper currency reserve, of bullion obtained by melting silver coin.
