Reconsideration of the memorial from the Oriental Salt Company, praying for certain concessions for the furtherance of their business in the Madras Presidency, and proposal that cargoes of salt exported from Ports in the Madras Presidency to other British Indian ports in steamers of not less than 1500 tons be assessed for duty on the weight actually landed.
