Consent of H. E. the G. G. under section 270(1) of the G.I. Act, 1935, to the prosecution of Shiv Ram. Packer, G.P.O., Simla, under s. 52, Indian Post office act, 1898. Provincial Govt. were told that consent was not neccessary as the act of the accd. of stealing was not protected by s. 270(1), G. I. act.
