Views of the Government of India on the questions whether the minimum rate of furlough allowance of the members of the Covenanted Civil Service should not be reduced, and whether Military Officers who are employed on duties identicall with those discharged by Covenanted Civil Servants in similar positions, and who cease after a certain period to remain on the effective strength of the Army, should not be treated similarly as Covenanted Civil Servants in respect of the minimum furlough allowance.
