The variation between Rule 13(1) of the Punjab Patwar is Provident Fund Rules and section 6(b) of the Provident Fund Act, 1925, brought to the notice of the Government of the Punjab, at the suggestion of the India Office; and the local Government asked to take early steps to revise the rule in conformity with the requirements of Section 6 of the Act.
