In reply to No. 134 dated, 3rd May, 1869 approves of the payment due to the British Govt. by the Nagode Chief for the loan contracted in 1865 having been postponed and of a further advance to him of a sum not exceeding Rupees 1,500 having been sanctioned, in orders to enable that Chief to afford relief to his distressed subject.
