In reply to this Office No. 4834, dated 24th September, 1866, states, information, that although no residence has yet been provided to the Deegah Jail, suitable accommodation is available in its vicinity, and may be rented on his behalf. Advances reasons which induced the Lieutenant Governor to consent to the location of so large a number as, 1,500, prisoners at the above Jail.
