With reference to No.466, dated 27th March last, submits copy of further papers regarding the efficacy of a Magistrate's summons beyond the district wherein it issues; and requests to be furnished with the views of the Government of India, and of the Advocate General, on the subject; and that, if legislative action be deemed necessary, the defect complained of may be remedied.
