In reply to despatch No. 46, dated the 5th ultimo, states that the number of copies which the Government of India have asked for of the work entitiled ``Appeals from the East Indies to the Privy Council`` includes the supply necessary for the Governments of Madras and Bombay.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
