Question of (I) the grant of allowances in excess of the scale sanctioned by the Secretary of State to civil surgeons and (II) the propriety of a civil surgeon to refuse to attend employees of Company managed State Railway. Grant to the Civil Surgeons, Jhansi, Cawnpore and Agra, of allowances of Rs. 300, Rs. 200, Rs. 150 per mensem, respectively for the periods they performed the duties of Railway District Surgeons, Great Indian Peninsula Railway.
