Proposal that assistant surgeon Gopal Chatarji, Assistant Bacteriologist and Assistant Professor of Pathology at the Medical College, Calcutta, should be retained the bacteriological department without restriction of term and be granted the bacteriological scale of allowance. Question whether civil assistant surgeons attached to the bacteriologist department can engage in private work in their special subjects in the same way as chemical assistants do.
