Decision that in future an allowance may be granted under the provisions of Article 1900 of the Civil Service Regulations to any Medical Officer who may be placed in charge of the Madras Penitentiary. Grant to Captain F. D. S. Fayrer, I. M. S., Surgeon, 3rd District, and Physician General Hospital, and Professor of Physiology, Madras Medical College, of an allowance of Rs.100 a month for the charge of the Madras Penitentiary, in addition, to his own duties.
