With reference to that Government letter No.1549, dated the 29th ultimo, invites attention to the letter from this Office, No.63, dated 6th instant, which conveyed the decision of the Govt. of India that no expenditure from Imperial revenues on account of the Deputy Supdt. of Census in Bombay can be allowed during the year 1882-83.
