Decision that the protection under article 314 of the Constitution in respect of medical attendance benefits extends only to those members of the ICS. who became members of the I.A.S. on its formation and that a Supreme Court Judge- Whether from the Bar, the I.C.S., or any Judicial Service - Would be entitled only to such medical attendance benefits as are allowed to an I.A.S. officer under the All India Services ( Medical) Rules, 1954.
