In reply to No.155 of the 16th april last forward copies of the prison rules in force in Bengal and the N.W.P. observes that the ordes conveyed in the aboe lr. remove all difficulty as for as concerns native soldiers inprisoned in jails by sentence of courts martial andalso providfe for the feeding & clothing of Mily.offenders who may here after be confirned in Mily.Prisoners but the C. in C.request the views of the Gover.Genl.on the applicability of civil prisons rules to N.Soldiers.
