In reply to a letter of the 19th instant expresses apprehension that his despatch of the 10th has been mistaken with regaed to the security tobe furnished by Major J. C. Tudor as assistant comissary General of & for the reson assiged states that that office should give a bond for 20000 Rs the usual amount for his due performence of that office & solicit early instruction in the matter.
