In contn. of his letter of the 3rd instt., transmits, for information and records a desptch from the Secy. at Bombay and copy reply thereto acknowledgign the rect. of his letter of the 22nd ultimo, detailig the measures taken for carring into efect the proposed reductin of the Bombay Army.
