With reference to a letters of the 29th march last transmits for information copy despatch from the chief eng. repoting that the maps & plance depoited by Major services in his office are with certain exxeption packed & ready for transmission to the survr General of India & states that the commanding Generalhas been directed to forward the chesh of maps first sintable opportunity.
