With refer. to letter no. 341 of the 9th ultimo, requesting that the bengal Regt. now at Cuttak may be relieved by one from the madras Presy. as originally intended, and that an early rerpot by frunished stating what measure have been adopted with a view to the relief of this particular Regt. and the period at which the relief will be effected.
