With reference to the bulle of a small thermometer attached gto daviesls hygrometer in use in that observation having accidentaly broken by the late 2nd asst requestin that the necessary instruction may be given for the transmission to england of the same for the renewal of the thermometer solicites for the reasons stated thte two or three spare thermometery may be indented for sent out at the same time with one to be inserted into the stem of the instruments in questionof observation.
