With reference to a letter of the 30th instant states that sum of 2000 Rs cahrged against the estate of the late lieuttC.alkmston 10th light cavalry was paid by the committee on refrence to the commanding officer to the Lieutt Herbert being the balance due to him for the houses which he sold to the deceased.
