With refer. to a letter of the 25th March, relative to the propostiin of the Bombay Govt. to place the province of scinde within one of the division of the army of tht presidency, states that it was not intended that the arrangemtn should in any way, interfere with the Poll. position of the Scinde relatiely by with the Affghanistan force, but simply as referring to desciplive & the staff officers of the late southern diviin. and that to remedy this state of things it is proposed to place scinde kutch & kattywae into a division of the bombay army.
