Conductor E.Townsend having returned from Furlough, the temporary arrangements made in Genl. orders No. 49 dt. 2nd April 1838 promoting sub Conductor and overseer, Piggott to that the acting sub conductor, are here by cancelled from the 15th dec,.1839 the date on which conductor Townsend Joined the Barrack Deptt. at Barrackpore.
